5 Loaves and 2 Fish

John 6:9–11
“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there).
Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

This is one of those stories that says so much with so little.

A kid shows up with a lunch. It’s not much—but he offers it.
And Jesus takes it, blesses it, and multiplies it beyond what anyone thought possible.

That’s the story behind the shirts and the totes. Take it with you, and share the story with those who are intrigued!

Want the full story?
Start with John 6—and read the whole chapter.
You’ll also find this miracle in:
Matthew 14:13–21
Mark 6:30–44
Luke 9:10–17

Better yet—read all four Gospels. Each one brings something unique to the table.
